Master Plan Committee Meeting

Present:  Father Ryan, Dawn Braum, Jay Chamernik, Ora Moore, Len Petrovic, Doreen Reeves, Jim Sullivan

 

Below are items to be considered:

 

Resecure/repair kneelers throughout the Church

 

Very low water flow in men’s washroom in Church vestibule.  Sinks are loose from their mountings in both washrooms at south end of Church

 

Check into handicap accessibility (unisex) washroom to be installed at south end of Church

 

Windows in high bay area in Church – completed

 

Roof maintenance of Church and Hunter Hall – pending

 

Identify handicap parking area

 

Parking lot repairs – evaluate in spring

 

Grass growth in paved area cracks – Church parking lot

 

Carpeting in guestroom & hall in rectory stairway has been replaced

 

Add railings and repair portable stairway in front of stage.  Possibly add wheels to improve mobility.

 

Install men’s and Women’s signs over washrooms by stage

 

Facade at high bay area (Church exterior).  Repair or cover with siding.

 

Step crack in toilet area of women’s bathroom by stage (block wall)

 

Repair floor tile by west door in Hunter Hall

 

Possible leaking toilet in men’s washroom by stage

 

Check into tritium exit signs (10) – consider purchase and installation – work completed

 

Floor tile by north exit door at outside wall behind stage needs repair

 

Bottom of door frame is rusting at north exit Hunter Hall

 

Install light switch at west wall to boiler-room

 

Install door sweep at east side north exit door in boiler room

 

Install door sweep at north door at kitchen in Hunter Hall

 

Remove old sidewalk heater unit off kitchen storage

 

Bathroom in Father Ryan’s office base heater requires painting

 

Check on battery backup for smoke detector & C02 alarms

 

Check into thermal pane window in Father’s bedroom & sitting room

 

Long room closet in rectory – check into small closet possible damage to ceiling from preexisting condition

 

West guest bathroom in rectory very poor water flow, staining etc.

 

Install wire nut over electrical pull box & install cover plates in rectory

 

Install vinyl deck floor carpet cover at Mary’s desk

 

Small step crack inside garage east wall

 

Patch hole in concrete floor at north end (fill with concrete) of garage

 

Repair crack in east wall at foundation in basement of rectory

 

Building exteriors and grounds will be looked at in spring.

 

After review/comments from Finance Committee, priorities will be assigned and an action plan will be developed
